APLDAXCC, short for 'Animistic Perception of Life, Death & Afterlife in
Contemporary Culture', is a visual case study and inspiration moodboard
for my FYP in ADM. Animism, the first system of thought conjured by our
primitive ancestors, is still evident in the minds of the majority around
the world, even till this modern era where everything requires a scientific
explanation to prove it’s credibility. With the capabilities of modern
tools and technology, I intend to juxtapose, and impose the different
values of objects and ideas, between the animistic people in primitive
era and people in contemporary culture, through a series of artifacts
accompanied by methodically designed collaterals.
